The Knit Club is a workshop by Craft Forward structured like a relaxed and welcoming knitting and crochet group, open to beginners and experienced makers to come together, connect, learn more about the craft and its radical history. Knitters will be producing knitted squares to go towards the “Blankets for London” project.

Come on a creative journey to self!

Join us on Saturday 2nd March 1:30 PM – 4:00 PM for an enriching art workshop that allows you to channel your inner artist. This will be an opportunity for you to explore creative ideas and express them using a range of materials. We will be taking a holistic approach to this session ensuring that you feel connected to yourself, the space, and those around you.

This session is open to Black and Mixed Heritage Disabled adults in partnership with Black Thrive Lambeth, Disability Advice Services Lambeth, and The Brixton Project.

Every piece crafted will be published in a zine in celebration of Disabled people

Food Safety Level 2

This is aimed at young people 14 to 26 who identify as Black, we will provide free food, a raffle for every attendee with a £50 prize, we will share ideas, create opportunities and connections that can make the difference.

A facilitated safe space for parents to come together for peer support and discussions on issues that affect young people, families and their community.

We hold monthly sessions and training days.

The first part of the session runs from 10am-11am and is introductions, discussions and support.
